The Department of Meteorology says that there may be some rain in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western provinces.

They added that rain or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Eastern and Uva provinces.

They urge the people to take measures to minimize the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur during thunderstorms.
